RESUME

Summary: I have enjoyed a varied and challenging career of providing and administering services for disadvantaged people. In October of 2000, a series of medical setbacks along with pre-existing diagnoses made it necessary for me to take long-term medical leave from employment. Still active as a writer and volunteer, I give of my time and talents to service organizations in my community that address the needs of people less fortunate than myself.

    PERSONAL INFORMATION

I grew up in the New Brunswick and Trenton, New Jersey areas and came to Baltimore after high school in 1966 to study for the Catholic priesthood at St. Mary's Seminary and University. There I received a bachelors degree in Liberal Arts and left the seminary four years prior to what would have been ordination. I met my wife four years later. We have been married for 37 years and have lived in the Waltherson neighborhood of northeast Baltimore City since 1979. My wife Angela is editor of the Owings Mills Times. We have two boys who are recent university graduates.
